OK guys, sorry for the MIA in the last 3 months. Was just too busy to pen down anything on this blog. But many things have happen! Went to The Land of Smiles and it was load of fun! I will talk about that another day. But for now, I wanna write a review of this place I went a couple of months back.

At that time, news is out. OSS is coming back. And it will be rename (like all TFC - they just love to rename themselves) Sugar B. Lots of Tom Yam have been posting on their FB and it feels like its gonna be the old OSS style.... lots of quality Tom Yam and lots of fun! So, naturally, we took it upon us to have a site visit and review the place out.

Have been quite sometime since I been to this place. The valet parking... (What valet parking) is like RM 20 now! It's freaking daylight robbery!.... OK night time robbery. Just ridiculous and we gotta park our rides ourselves! Same entrance and same style place. No difference with OSS. Got in and to my surprise...... no change at all! Not a single furniture have move! Come on lah Sugar B..... at least put in some effort to change things around a bit! We were in early at about 10 PM and the place was dead...... I mean dead! (Refer picture below) EMPTY!

Anyway, got a table and ordered a tower of beer. Beer is cheap at RM 180++ and promo before 11 PM is Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Its OK. There were only 2 of us that night. So, 2 tower with 2 guys will simply last us quite a while. I'll cut the story short here. Am sure you don't want me to talk to you how boring it was 2 batang standing there chatting....... The girls start to come in at about 10.30PM or 10.45 PM...... but the speed of the girls coming in is very weird. In many places, they will just come in by the dozens and begin to fill up the place. But that night, 2 by 2...... slowly until there were about 30 of them. The girls didn't bother to come over until about 11 PM. Come on lah.... we cannot be that ugly or boring until you don't wanna come over until work starts at 11 PM right? Anyway, the girls started slowly, drinking and small talk. Nothing interesting. By 12 midnight, it was getting friendlier. Getting closer and more relaxed. Drinking and a little more fun.

The quality of the girls are pretty good and most of them are above average (at least for my standard). For you guys with higher standard..... please proceed to Paramount or W (I'll write a review later). Had some good fun and strangely, this round, the girls are not too pushy. After more than 1 hour on our table, they have not push us to buy tequila or flower...... sure its gonna come later. So, we continue and the girls are starting to be a little touchy.... not that I am complaining..... the band also came over and a few familiar faces here as well! One of the guitarist was from Level Club! (Link is for Yes Club but its the same place and the quality and fun level remains the same). So, from 2 tower to begin with, we are now on our 5th tower of beer! We had quite a blast there!

Now, to the band quality, it is MUCH better than many Tom Yam joints I have been. At least when they sing, I can understand the English songs! AND...... wait for it!..... They play ROCK music! Metallica! Linkin Park! and many more! I am freaking surprised! So, I'll rate the band as F**king great!

So, we continue to party and finish by 2.30 AM. Time to go back and have another round tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoy the place as much.... or more than I did. Bring back the old OSS (Click if you feel like having some nostalgic moments for OSS) feeling for me. Used to LOVE that place!
