This is another old place that is one of the favourites in town. Yes Club is situated in the popular Hartamas area but is hidden from the more famous places like Souled Out. It is located Maybank in Desa Sri Hartamas. For the frequent flyers of TFC, you might also know this as Luxy Club. Yes is on the same place with Luxy.
The valet parking here is quite reasonable at RM 10 and is usually parked just in front of the place. The car jockey is also very friendly and recognizes more of the regulars there.
Although we are regular to this place, it is always scary to walk into Yes Club. There are alot of Tom Yam PR here and they are eager to become "your friend". We were greeted by 3 PR and they just followed us around while we were looking for a nice table. The place itself is not big, but sufficient I guess. As usual, we ordered our normal poison and the price I would say is reasonable - Macallan at RM 448. The drinks we served quite quickly - within 5 minutes. All OK in this zone.
The band members then joined not long after that and boy! were they friendly! The girls then keep coming to our table and having drinks with us. A table of 2 guys, we had about 6 PR with us! I feel famous! I have to say that this is the fastest bottle I have ever finish - within 45 min!!! Of course we continued to order more and more bottles. We ended up with 4 bottles that night. Strangely, none of us were drunk. The girls are generally friendly and chatty as well, no doubt there were many familiar faces as the PR just keep rotating pubs/ clubs.
I was actually quite impressed with some of the PR as they look REALLY HOT! The band was also extremely entertaining - on stage, and off stage. Sadly, the band members told me that it is their last day and they are going to another new club that their boss just opened in Mentari Sunway (Will definitely write about this one soon). The band also do request, Thai songs, Chinese songs and English. As usual, for a fee - of course.
Soon after the band got down, the DJ started to spin. The choice of music is not the best, but it is not bad as well. Good enough to have a good jump around.The mamasan selling flowers are very pushy and keep asking for us to buy every 10 mins, but I have to say, they can be friendly as well.
Generally a good outing but the 4 bottles did turn out to be a great cost to this round. Expensive trip but fun. The only bad point I can point out is the toilet...... not too clean but passable.
