Pixie Mansion @ Jalan Kia Peng

Updating this place : This place is now closed. Sorry Brothers for losing a TFC joint!

Got a FB message from a friend a couple weeks back on a new joint in town - Pixie Mansion. It's the old Neverland that had been closed for more than 6 months now. It has just been re-opened as Pixie Mansion. It is located at Jalan Kia Peng in KL City Center, just next to Butter Factory. Waze do not have this location yet, so, if you are looking for it, just key in Butter Factory.

It is Monday and we arrive at 10.30 PM. Normally, any TFC by this time on a Monday would have already some crowd, but the parking was literally empty. We even thought it was close other than the stream of girls keep walking in and out. RM 10 gets you into the parking lot. Don't expect a valet service as there is none.

The entrance still looks as grand as the days of Neverland and the corridor leading into the place is equally impressive as well. Well decorated and looks very premium - high chance we will be butchered inside! Got in and the place is really empty with only 2 tables taken, presuming it to be high rollers. Most of the girls are seated with the 2 VIP area while we got a table near the middle. Got ourselves a bottle and that set us back by RM 440 for a Johnny Walker. All good and we were trying to chat with each other. The only problem is - no girls on our table. 30 minutes have gone and STILL no girls! This is turning out to be extremely disappointing! After about an hour, 2 Taiwanese came over and started to chat with us. As our Mandarin language skill is far from average, we make do with the little English that they can speak.

Nothing eventful on the outing and the singers was out of this world - in a bad way! The band was actually pretty good but the singers are just horrible! Don't think they can sing any tune. However, that was the only entertainment at that joint. Have to say that the Taiwanese girls with us are very sweet looking and its like the girl next door kinda looks. Very polite and not the typical TY in most joints.

However, the DJ was quite good. Had a good time with the great Club music - Ibiza style! He only spins when the girls are on stage. Other than that, its the band.......

Drinks was moving at a really slow pace and after 2 hours, we were only at half bottle. There's no motivation to really drink... like in most TFC.

Everything kinda change when 3 TY join the table. They were the typical and experienced bunch whom in 30 minutes, whack the bottle dry and were asking for more drinks - as in more bottles, not ladies drinks! There was more chit chatting and laughs in 30 minutes than the last 2 hours combined! Suddenly, it became a little bit fun. Anyway, we left not long after that.

None of us were satisfied nor happy with the experience here. Sadly, a great looking place and ambiance but with poor experience.

  1. Both Pixies in Kia Peng and Scott Garden are well known for poor PR and expensive drinks.

They are trained ( when the time is ripe ) to be on the look out... and only come to your table for ONE purpose... Flowers and Ladies drinks

When the music stops, patrons come out losers with wallet empty and credit card receipts

    1. Isn't that always the case in most places?

God gave men 2 heads and enough blood to run 1. Use the right head.
