OSS Club @ Mont Kiara

For all you frequent flyers in the TFC scene, this place is not surprising to be featured in our first blog posting!

We got there at about 10 PM on a normal Wednesday and already finding it difficult to get a parking. After moving in circles in the area, the parking attendant pops up and direct us to a parking which is about 100m away from the entrance. I guess that's pretty alright since it is only a single row of parking available at the entrance of the Club. Parking charges are priced at RM 12 - Pretty expensive considering that we had to park the car our self and it was more like a public parking area than a valet service. But considering the task of finding a parking and moving in circles, let's not make any noise about RM 12.

As we are reaching the entrance, vans after vans arrived and stopped at the entrance and started unloading countless - I mean COUNTLESS girls! Easily 30 to 40 of them! Of course, as customers, the bouncers make way for us and lets us in before the girls. Does make me feel a little important.

The moment we pass through the door, the sound of music starts to be very loud, but not unbearable. It is actually, just nice to a place like this. With the sounds of Tiesto and Martin Garrix, this place does get you pumping. But of course like all TFC goers, we remain cool and calm. Not more than 3 steps into the place, girls started to approach us and ushering us to any seat of our choice. We wanted the sofa area on the left side of the club but those are reserved. However, we negotiated our way and got a sofa seat with only buying 2 bottles of Macallan 12 years at RM 850. That is actually very reasonable price for 2 bottles of Macallan.

OSS at this time is still very empty but there are about 80 to 100 Tom Yum already in the place waiting for customers. 4 of them came to our table and politely welcome us to the place. The band started to play at 10.30 PM while the place is still very empty (only 3 tables out of maybe 50 tables). The band itself is very impressive with a full set of band members and the singers keep changing. They would sing for about 20 to 25 songs before the end of the first set. By this time, it is already 11.30 PM and the place is already half full. More customers are coming in and by 12 midnight, the place is already packed. The only place empty is the VIP area on the second floor. Not too sure why would people want to be at second floor but for some strange reason, some are there.

All the while there, the girls just constantly asking us to play games and drink. What I can say is that they are REALLY great drinkers! The 2 bottles did not last too long and by 12.30 PM, only half a bottle left. Surprisingly, the girls have not asked for any flowers or drinks yet. Everything change at 1.00 AM when all of them suddenly started asking for tequilas and flowers. Very pushy at times but it is truly understandable - Its their job! We did push back and they are pretty OK with it. Lots of laugh and lots of drinks. Also by looking around the place, most of the girls already have regular customers.

Left the place by 1.30 AM and all in great mood.
