Hexagon @ Kota Damansara

Hey guys! I'm back and finally, manage to visit a new place in KL/ PJ area. Nowadays, better go visit these places fast. Many places open and close even before we manage to get there to have a review. Honestly, been to a few places recently and trust me, it's not even worth your time reading it...... it is just so very bad!

Having said that, we manage to find a gem in the rough! One of our member got news of a new place. They don't even have a Facebook page yet and it was difficult to find the place. We were told it is at The Strand in Kota Damansara. So, drove there and tried to look for the place. Round and round the building and still couldn't find it. So I tough just park anywhere and walk. Maybe inside the complex leh.... who knows right. So, I walk all over and finally manage to find it at the corner of the Mall. It's just opposite the Kuwait Bank. If you are using Waze to get there, better search for Kuwait Bank coz I couldn't find Hexagon.

So, got in there and it feels kinda small. Not a big club like Mercury, W Club or Paramount. Just a small place. Got in and ordered a tower of beer. Couldn't remember how much but I recall is less than RM 110. The PR that open the tower is...... how to say it politely..... not great. Didn't talk to us and doesn't look great anyway. Kinda like gonna give this place a bad review. But as I look around, everyone seems to be having a great time! So, we just drink and waited for a while. Then, 2 pretty good looking Tom Yum came to our table and started chatting. Ini lah baru service! They were quite fun and keep talking. Then, the standard happens...... dice game. So, we layan and just play along lor...

So, asked the girls. This place is just opened like 2 weeks ago. Both of them were working some place else before coming over. 1 of them was working in JB before this. This is her 1st time working in KL and she's from Hat Yai. She looks too fair and pretty compared to my standard trip to Hat Yai. So, I did really asked her about Hat Yai and con lan firm she is from Hat Yai..... If everytime I go Hat Yai I find this quality around, I don't think I will ever come back!

Another girl was working in Kingsway before this and just started work 2 days ago. So, this place is like really new.

But I wanna tell you guys about the band. This have to be the best Thai band I've seen in KL! They play a good mix of Thai and English songs. the Thai songs are some of the standard Thai songs in any TFC you will go..... like OK Na Ka, Sang Sut Tai, and the standard but I wanna talk about the English songs..... It is NOT the typical Titanium or some shitty songs..... the whole way was Rock! From Metallica to Limp Bizkit! This has to be the first time I am hearing Take A Look Around (Mission Impossible Soundtrack) from Limp Bizkit being played by a Thai band in KL! And honestly, they were DAMN GOOD!!!!! I freaking enjoyed the band...... of course couple with beer and hot Tom Yum, the night was really entertaining!

I think this will be my new favourite TFC for now. You'll definitely find me there every Friday night!
